  • Catalysts 4.5 Fixes AA Problem

There have been a lot of problems with AA (anti-aliasing) and ATI cards with RvS. The initial release had problems with AA and nightvision. Your fps would drop when using it. The fix was to disable fast writes. Then ATI released a driver set that totally broke AA. It would stop working if you got shot or used nightvision. ATI claimed it's because UbiSoft didn't program AA capability correctly. So we had to deal with no AA or use it until you got shot (a pause would occur while AA was disabled) or used nightvision. Now, the 4.5's have been released and confirmed to force AA on games that didn't implement it correctly. I don't know if that's a load of bull but AA works nicely with RvS now. It gets disabled whenever the 'bad' AA programming happens and is restored when that part is over. So no AA with nightvision but you get it back when you turn it off.
