  • BioShock Crashes When Loading Medical Pavillion level?

Did anyone else have any crash issues? It didn't crash so much as never went beyond the "loading" screen. After waiting 5 minutes I finally had to terminate the app.

I haven't tried it since it crashed the first time. I'm using the Vista 32-bit and the latest beta nVidia drivers for my 8800.

I crashed when that level loaded, however upon reloading, haven't had any problem.

Yup, ditto on that problem which really sucks - it would be nice to see the rest of the game. Don't get any joy juice from any set of options (graphics ways down, window mode, no EAX, etc) either.

My system really should be able handle it - 2.0Ghz dual core, 3 GB RAM, nVidia 8600, etc...

In fact, it runs sweet for the first level - pity about the remainder; it'll probably stop me buying 2k games since this isn't their first game where I've had these sorts of problems (on mulitple systems).

This is a pretty old thread. I believe the crashing issues were fixed in a driver update... a long time ago.
