  • Enemy Engaged 2 coming May 1st?

The intro looks sweet...but is it a sim or an arcade?

    http://www.eech2.com/index2.html

According to GoGamer.com it comes out as a import May 1st.

The website calls is a "helicopter sim" with "modern helicopter combat simulation with realistic flight physics. I wonder how destructable the environment is...the helicopter crashing through the building was pretty cool.

Also very interesting, "Use immersive voice control to command your gunner and wingman."

Although the video was really impressive the screenshots were medicore at best. There seems to be little or no environment. The vehicles and aircraft all seem to be in the middle of nowhere with no buildings, no terrain feature and no trees (except for 1 screenshot).

Also, there isn't any mention of multiplayer.

The first EE was quite bare as well. After support was dropped and the code released, there have been some really good developments. If EE2 can learn from what modders did with EE1, this should be an excellent game. Graphics don't matter much but an immersive environment is important.
