Tranj from THQ tells us that "the system requirements are not yet set in stone. We are targeting those requirements, but there is a possibility they could go up. We want to make sure that the requirements reflect an enjoyable play experience, and not a "See! The game launches!" experience."
Looks like the hardware for this is a good step lower than doom 3. It's my vid card that is going to really hold me back... And the nice ones are so expensive...
And I really will want to swoop around and zoom in on the action here. Looks fun. Have to convince karen she needs a new video card for ... um... flash web sites????? doh. (I have a GF4ti4400).
maybe I can convince her the 2nd computer(an amdk62-350) is obsolete? She might buy that... Then I can do a system that can get at least 1280x1024 high quality in Doom3. That'll easily cover this game too.
Sounds like good gaming this fall! Any way that TG can set up games in DawnOfWar? Just meet in teamspeak, choose someone to host? Don't suppose DawnOfWar will support voice in game?
