  • Medieval 2 TW: Kingdoms out...

Kinda pissed off... I bought Medieval 2 Total War via steam, but now there not selling the newly released expansion, Kingdoms...

So I had to buy M2TW from direct2drive then buy the expansion... anyway, I love the series... no time for the campaigns, usually just play the historical scenerios...

anyway, Kingdoms, the expansion to M2TW is out at stores, or as a digital purchase/download from:

    http://www.direct2drive.com/

    Just FYI.

I was disappointed to see NO "historic scenarios" which is my favorite to play... but still a very good add-on.

Anyone still play this game? this is one quality game i must say, especially once you download some mod's which give extra units, makes game more realistic and other fancy stuff :) Worth a search!

I play it from time to time. The stainless steel mod and the long road mod really change the game to the better. Cant wait for Empire total war.

I only stopped playing because I'm living on my laptop while on TAD and living in what is essentially a hotel room for 7 weeks. Never even touched the vanilla campaigns but went straight for some of the mods after experiencing the Rome Total Realism mod with Rome TW.

Im really excited for Empire TW, not only because of the time period and sea battles but just to see what advancements/improvements they have made to the campaign AI and diplomacy. I'm hoping they open it up to play a bit closer to the Civilization or Europa Universalis series where you run a real empire.

FYI Gogamer.com right now has the main game and this expansion for $5.90 each.

This is pretty tempting. Looks like I have a few hours more to decide.

I didn't really find this game very fun. There was hardly any variety to the units you can get from different countries.

I'll stick to Rome Total War.
