  • Coming back after exams on Monday

Winter break is coming up and I'm ready to start playing again. I'm just wondering whether CO is the way to go, or if buying OA and installing both it and ArmA 2 into the same folder as the quick start guide says.

Is the install easier with CO to justify spending an extra $20?

AFAIK buying CO is exactly the same as buying the two seperately

Easiest install: buy OA non-steam, it will install to your A2 folder automatically

If you do end up with games in seperate folders (e.g. buying from steam) then just install normally, then run http://unitedoperations.net/arma2/gu..._coSymlink.rar and you're good

Personally I use Spirited Machine's Arma 2 Launcher ( http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241 ). I have the steam versions of both ARMA 2 and OA. I didn't have to bother with the symlink or copying files between directories. It basically just sets up the command line for launching the game for you.
