  • Iron Front - Liberation 1944: All eyes to the Eastern Front

A new game coming out built on the Arma2 engine. Bis licenced the engine to this company; http://www.deepsilver.com/en/game-vi...ll/iron-front/ http://www.gamershell.com/news_116406.html http://www.gamershell.com/companies/...er/853722.html

More in the Bis thread: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=118477
Maybe an acceptable game for the ww2 gamers that love Arma.

Have been very much in anticipation for this to come out and have been following its progress for ages. Was originally to be released as a mod but has since grown into the above. Unknown how limited it will now be as the title suggests that content may have been withdrawn from the original plan. As can be seen in the link below, the level of detail put into its development is absolutely amazing! This is how ARMA2's quality SHOULD have looked in the first place...

If a Mod community was approved by the game developers to publish their own "game" using their platform, that just shows how humble BIS is when it comes to their ArmA community.

I'm looking forward to the release of this game/Mod.
Would really like to play the scene where Major R. Winters received his award for taking out the fixed German Artillery positions, and some of his other encounters.

Either case, enormous respect to the veterans of the past wars. We shouldn't forget them.
