  • Close Air Support Manual V 1.0

Ok finally had some time to finish my CAS manual. here is the first finished version.

I want to add a chapter for helicopter support but right now I am unable to devote much time to it. If you notice any errors, including misspelled words or the like please let me know!

also if someone wants to download it:

if TG admins want you are perfectly welcome to host it here at TG as well.

I just quickly skimmed over it and I lldigest it in a bit, but I can already see that this is a wealth of information in here. Thanks Charles Darwin!

Further report on it in a bit.

Re: Close Air Support Manual V 1.0

Just read it through. I must say that this is godsend considering the fact that most of the new players have wet dreams flying the a-10 in a domination or another mission, but have no or limited idea on how to do it properly, resulting being shot down every 10 to 15 minutes, while adding nothing to the team.

In fact this guide made me go practice this stuff immediately after I hit the post button here. I hope this thread picks up some popularity and a healthy discussion develops about the topic, if not you can always go public. I for one have questions, but I ll try to catch you on TS first for that.

All in all a very informative piece of work. A must read for any and all aspiring pilots and JTACs.

Great stuff Charles, and Rambo this info has not been declassified yet, so we will probably have to shoot you since you confessed to have read it through.

I give it three thumbs up! I (being one of the "new" players), find this to be very informational. I now feel like I could, with maybe a little more SP practice, be ready to start flying attack vehicles. Kinda makes me want to play a good freeplay (domi) map with full support and logistics now.

Shamelessly bumping this up for self promotion and so players can read it before the MSO :)

No shame in giving the baby milk, Charles. Great job.
