Re: Using the Vector 21B and Dagr

I've been using DAGR this for a while now. It's completely under-utilized. Thanks for the write-up! :icon14: Hopefully this will get people to use this instead of "shift-click" or guessing arty strikes on maps. Even if they don't, I will still be using the DAGR... because it's fun, and I can.

P.S. if you can still edit the title of the thread. You might consider using the "[guide]" prefix. :)

Much appreciated, this removed all confusion I was experiencing between the DAGR and 21B :)

Nice write up :) Don't forget to mention alt-r with vector to cycle through degrees, mils, and various mils approximations (6400-based mils is probably the most commonly used one).

Also, if you spawn with a vector, it comes pre loaded with battery, but if you get it from a box, you have to get the battery (can't remember the name, it starts with 2) for it as well. The first time you press r to turn it on, you'll load the battery.

Sent via Crapatalk 2. Please excuse the typos.

Can the 21B do night vision? Are there any night vision binocs?

Pressing the / key on your numpad activates the night vision on the 21B, and you can press N as usual when using the SOFLAM.

You can still adjust the sensitivity, too.

Didn't know about the Alt+R cool thanks.
But ... I know that sometimes if you spawn with a vector it does not always come pre loaded with battery..My guess is it depends on how the mission creator added the item to the player or if the players default model class gear is replaced by a vector ?
IE if he is normal carrying a range finder by default

This guide pretty much covers everything, but for those of you (who are like me), who like to pick out and find every single tiny detail I found these from the ACE website.
