Thanks Hotmachina - also I let Browna know about the left-over .208 files in the yoma link and he is fixing that now (UPDATE: yes he fixed it).

It may be of interest to you all that as of this version (213) the ace_keys.hpp file has been updated. So if you want to configure new keys for the new functions they've added (including "thermal" - I don't know if you need the new ace_keys to use them though) you will need to copy the new file (which should have been updated by Yoma, etc.) from:

        Arma2/@ACE/userconfig/

        To:

        Arma2/userconfig/ACE/

This means you will have to re-enter any customisations you have manually made to this file though.

If anyone thinks this warrants a new thread I might make one on it - I might do so anyway.

I would really appreciate that, I still have doubts how to do it and how it affects the game.

Sounds interesting...is this an attempt at FLIR

It's a fake FLIR - yes. We have to wait until OA until we get the real deal though. This is just the same kind of FLIR already seen in a zillion scripts, just that it now is built into ACE :)

Re: **alert please read regarding updates to yoma**

The "fake FLIR" is not all that useful*, so I doubt people will use it often, but this got me wondering: if the FLIR keybindings are PgUp and PgDown, have the NVG keys been changed or are they the same?

                Edit/Disclaimer:
this personal opinion is based on my experience with similar scripts. I have yet to test ACE's version at the time of this post. :D

Well, it's practically a black/white high-contrast night vision. Can sure prove useful if one finds default NV to have too little contrast :)

Re: **alert please read regarding updates to yoma**

Or if you don't get NVGs in your tanking loadout!

The key to increase/decrease contrast for FLIR is the same as increase/decrease sensitivity on NVGs, by design.
