I've been trying to make a special forces VIP protection mission using the Yukon in game, but have hit a road-block since in co-op, the vehicle lacks any defensive measures or weapons systems (including the ability for passengers to fire out the windows). AI soldiers will just shoot at it with an RPG or throw a grenade and that's it for the poor vehicle. Is there any way to make a car selectively 'bulletproof' so that you cannot damage it with a small-arms muzzle or shoot its tires out, while a .50, 30mm or explosive like mine, mortar or rocket will disable it completely?

It would be pretty epic amounts of badass if someone were to modify the existing SUV model with one of these bad boys. That's a lot of rounds down range, though for obvious reasons if you used it in an urban setting you'd probably kill far more civilians than actually necessary.

Mythbusters utilised the M134-equipped presidential SUV when they wanted to see if shooting fishes in a barrel was as easy as the saying made it out to be.
Adam was soo surprised when Jaime used it. :icon_bigg

You could allowDamage false; it - and then give it a hit event handler that "simulates" actual damage. I.e. a percent chance of actual damage happening when its hit.

Someone cue 80's movie theme music and Ahnuld or Stallone on the turret "GIET DAHON" (Get Down)... Pretty epic!
