  • This game for a B-Day

I bought this game along with a GTX 260 as my birthday gift. After a 7 hour install on Steam i have it up and running along with the 260 and it's a gorgeous game.

I'll be doing the training to get a handle on controls. Any general tips for a complete new guy. I do play other games like PR, but i know this game is in a league of its own.

My Resume includes Pirate, Mercenary, and a Devil Dog, what else do you want.

Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional.

When you can't run anymore, you crawl and when you can't do that, you find someone to carry you.

I'm new as well. I'm working on some missions and bit a single player before I even think about getting into a game online. Don't want to embarrass myself.

If you're playing the game, be in the correct TeamSpeak Channel.

Be patient. Often times the actual planning and coordination of missions takes a long time. If you aren't on the command level this can seem like it takes forever. In game however you'll appreciate the higher level of planning and execution. Individual skill is far less important in ARMA 2 than teamwork or communication.

But it takes 50+ of them to take a tree down.
