    Hi guys,
I appreciate that you were willing to use your time to play my mission. I'm glad you liked it.

Feel free to leave feedback and AAR here :)

Intense stuff. Also I realized how much I missed that map. It is a true urban combat map. Anyway this make or BHD was very cool. I felt like I was in the movie. PFs and guests played it to the perfection. My squad was chalk 2. We were on our toes the whole time. Just like the real deal we were under fire, suppressed and covering our butts. Orders and cross talks came in for us to move to a certain location. We would get pinned down on the way get into a firefight, taking RPG rounds... one after another.

Anyway one of the best time I had ever.

I have no complaints about the mission.

No complaints. Anything I would have constructive critisisim on, you already took care of. Once you do what you said you were going to do it will be perfect, and I mean truley perfect.

The mission was simply awesome and well played all around. The inclusions of audio clips from the movie and the couple of scripted events made it extremely immersive. While I don't have any complaints, I have a suggestion: would it be possible to have AIs man the guns on the blackhawks? This way the BH can provide some fire support without having to remove soldiers from the grounds. :)

Oh and I wanted to apologize to Mikee for having shouted "Blue on Blue" in his ear on Direct toward the end when we were escorting the convoy out: when I realized that we were firing on some friendlies stuck on the northern side of the highway I started shouting in Direct and Mikee was standing right next to me. :p

Yes, this is not a problem. Will be done.

Mikee, we discussed last night a couple of fixes and I have one more idea that you don't have to make but would add a little to the initial start. Could you move the base a way's away from the city? Build it on the very edge of the map so that the flight could last a little longer and you could even add a small music clip for the flight in like in the movie. I think the flight in should be a little more tense and really help put the players into the zone for when they rope into the LZ. It's just an idea.

Since we did mention the idea of adding more chalks and reducing the convoy, here is a picture showing a new idea for inserting the chalks and the SF team. I think this better represents how the chalks were inserted but it's just an idea again. This also puts the market outside the security zone just like in the actual event. Inserting them like in the picture allows you more avenues to funnel enemy unit's into and those guarding the SE and NE corners can deal with the mixed civies and armed troops coming in from the east from the market. The nice thing about the already existing market is that you dont need to add any more objects as all the tents and stuff are already built into the map.

Viper, this is great idea and I will look into that.
However that means, I would have to change location of enemy units around the Bakara Market at the beginning. Maybe there wouldn't be any of enemy militia, until we raid Target Building? Then, they would spawn and attack, just like it happened.

PS: Tents were put there by me :) In regular map, its just an empty field :).

I dont know about you but it was pretty tense for me. As I was hovering letting down the ropes all I could see where people with guns running around below me. I had rounds pinging off the bird all I could think of was "GET THE HELL OUT NOW!!!!" lol.

Mikee i knew you placed the tents but don't put too much work into placing tents if they already exist and the market already exists :P

Yeah the enemy militia shouldn't be assaulting until minutes after the rangers hit the dirt and the SF team is in the compound. You know the script you are using for the LB pilot and his rescue, could you use the same script for the HVT's and the convoy? Just wondering. That way the convoy can act like the real convoy.

What you mean by that? I don't really get it. In the mission, we are supposed to run behind the convoy, just like the Mogadishu mile :).

He means Mando script the exact route I think. Like you have a designated fall route for the chopper, and a Mando [I think] helo route to rescue the downed pilots.

Mikee, what i mean is that in your mission, you have a script that when the LB lands by the first crash site the pilot automatically appears the the little bird correct? If what you told us is right that is how i understand it. Why don't you just do the same for the convoy and add the HVT's like in the movie at the main objective.

I wasn't talking about the end where the guys on foot try to keep up with the convoy, sorry if that's how it came across.

Fall route of chopper is random, however it will crash in specified radius area. Player flying Littlebird (Star 41) is the one, who rescues downed pilots :).

I see now. Yeah, it's a good idea. I might implement it in the mission. It will work just for one vehicle from the convoy through.
So, I can make it that 5 ton Truck must be parked at the front of target building, so prisoners can be load up on the vehicle.
