  • How to make uh60 wreck a destroyable objective?

I'm trying to make a wrecked UH60 an objective the team have to secure i.e. blow up.

So far I have hidden a radio (Called Radio1) in the wreck and when I place the satchel and detonate it - it takes out the radio and satisfies the objective and I can complete the mission.

However, I want to have the UH60 spawn randomly using a 500m Placement Radius.

    1) How do I get the Radio to follow the UH60

    or

    2) How do I destroy the UH60? Is there a way to make a trigger detect a satchel charge going off?

Or is there an alternative to the above?

    Thanks,
    Jex.

For 1) : Add a new trigger executed at 0 and put this in:

    Condition:
    true

    On Act:
    radio1 setpos getpos Uh60

    (Uh60=name of the wreck)

This should move the radio to the UH60 position everytime the game starts.

If you also want the UH60 wreck and radio to go completely away because of the explosion, add in a new trigger:

    Condition:
    not alive radio1

    On Act:
    deleteVehicle Uh60
    deleteVehicle radio1

      1.)
for example... your radio is named rd1 while your blackhawk is BH1
to make the radio move to the location of the BH at every mission start you add this in a Trigger (Activation Line):

      rd1 setpos getpos BH1

      oh skychief was faster:D

No problem, might want to check out Murrays editing guide, it has some really nice stuff in there, e.g. how to drop paratroopers+ much more and I don't think one will ever finish it because of the size :p .
