Hey Raptor, TG is not really a clan, more like a community.
Although we sometimes TvT, I haven't seen any desire to scrimmage against another group... we have a large enough population to have good matches with/against ourselves, and the membership is open (ie-- you don't have to be in the "cool" group, just follow the basic rules of TG). Alot of the missions we play are coop, too, so that would not really be something to "practice" for, since you're top goal is to complete a mission quickly with low casualties.
The closest to practice I have seen would be the occasional teaching workshops to get the group on the same page regarding radio communications, squad movements, map orienting, weapons, etc. Those are done at random intervals by players who volunteer to help newer members.
We do hold classes for those that are interested but we don't do that unless we have atleast 15+ people. If enough people are intereted in having a training session again then people need to request it. Our two instuctors Ghost and Socom do a very fine job of teaching the basics of infantry and have been waiting for more people to get used to how we play here before moving into advanced training.
As we are not a clan like others who try to hold training sessions, we do like to provide some sort of basic training for new players who are new to the game or want to learn more to be even more usefull on the TG servers. Lots of people come here new to the game and we like to offer them whatever we can to help them enjoy playing ArmA2 here at TG.
