    Situation: Uhao Island Security Threat Level RED (Severe)

    Intelligence Report: Information has been received from operatives in Pakistan that an Attack is imminent on the Island of Uhao. It is believed that a terrorist cell is inbound to the Island on a cargo ship.

    Our sources were not sure, but they believe the Terrorists may be planning to attack the Turtle Bay Resort, a popular destination for off duty airmen and women form the nearby Maili US/UK Air Force Base. The King of Uhao may also be a target having allowed the Allies to establish an airbase on the island. He is due to tour the Island today to visit a number of locations; we have passed on the threat to his staff and have insisted that he rides in a Hmmwv with a US Special Forces escort team, replacing his usual diplomatic vehicle and personal protection staff.

    We have no idea where they will land or when they will land, their numbers or their armament. We believe they may have had an advance team working on the island for the last few weeks gathering intelligence and they may have smuggled an ammunition box onto the island near the small village Ahaiki, possibly even Mortar tubes. They may also try to blow up the Parliament building in the Capital, Maili, we simply have no idea.

    This group must be found and found quickly and they cannot be allowed to exit the island. Lives are at risk and you need to ensure the safety of the citizens of Uhao.

    TG Uhao - "Sundown Terror!" TvT - RESPAWN

    You are part of a British rapid response unit that has been requested urgently by the King of Uhao to a potential immediate threat to the Island. Your Unit consists of a 6 man squad from the 6th Assault Squadron, Royal Marines and a 10 man squad from the 4th Rifles Regiment, both units have just been flown in from HMS Albion which is heading to the Island as you read this. This operation will be lead by Squad Leader - Captain Harris and 2IC will be Team Leader - Lieutenant Richards, read your mission notes and get ready to deploy your forces immediately, this is a time critical mission as it is believed a Terrorist group is about to attack the Island.

    Check the intelligence report for the suspected targets, but we believe the King who is making a tour of the Island today, might possibly be a target. US Special Forces are guarding him, but a little extra help, might be useful. Squad Leader, you have at your disposal a Royal Marine air assault squad for rapid response, surveillance and convoy escort capability. You are also in charge of a ground assault squad which you will co-ordinate to patrol key areas of the island and task them to find the terrorist's suspected ammo cache. Most of all your team must find and eliminate the Terrorists as soon as possible, before they get chance to take any civilian life. Establish road blocks, protect key areas and do not allow the Terrorists to turn this into another media frenzy. Do it quick and we will keep this under wraps. Good luck.

    Mission now "Live" on Server 1, this is a TVT (4 Terrorists versus 16 British). It's an Escape and Evade mission, with considerable objectives for Opfor and careful planning required for Blufor. Patience is the key along with speed and stealth. Blufor need to set up recce teams, patrols and generally keep a very keen eye for any clues i.e. dead bodies, as to the Terrorists route. Vehicles do not respawn but players do and this IS JIP. Mission was test driven earlier today andall now seems to work well, follwoing a few modifications, unfortunately the Grave sites script which is fun, causes wayyyy to much lag to use.

    Opfor needs to use cunning and plan carefully as to how it is going to carry out it's attacks to ensure the safest and highest probability of escape. There are eyes in the sky and you will need to use the topography of the island to ensure your survival. Rest up in safe houses, mark rally points to meet colleagues and resupply. Go simply charging off and you WILL die quickly.

    If Blufor manages to kill all the Terrorists in one hit over the period of a 200 second respawn from 1st one dead to last man dead....game over. If Opfor achieve all their objectives....game over. Anything else, means you keep fighting until the bullets run out!

    So get ya butts on the mod server and take this puppy for a spin!!

    OK so "slight" problem noticed in playing this mission!! While it is nice to have Marianne in the map to provide some female flesh, she is also unfortunately "Bulletproof" as are the other newsmen, so I have to remove them from the game! Unless anyone knows a way to turn her Armour down to the same as other civs?

    I also intend to add more traffic, the mission seemed very stable now without many scripts and pretty lag free, so I will incease the number of buses running around the island.

      Looking forward trying this one out.

      Havent been on the TG ArmA scene for a while now..no im not dead. Just that I already have my hands full with college assignments that i have to cut down on gaming time.
      Is this mission using any mods other than the TG Mod Pack. Last update i did to my pack was Iraqi Police and Artillery.

            Nice mission from what I saw would be very interesting if the sever is full and has good numbers. About the newsman I belive a mission on the servers has the male reporter but he is an objective you have to kill. If you want there is a pretty good addon that adds mercs, some very nice Opfor mercs, and civies that is really good they even use the female voice thats already in the game. Can't remember what it is called at the moment though.

              Ta Cobra, yep I would really like to see it maxed out with 20 players, two man Patrols in vehicles, checkpoints established, and a rapid response team by Helo to Terrorist sightings.

              The thing that I was pleased with, was the fact that if there are just a few of you on, you can play the mission as a 4 man Coop, as there is enough AI threat to make certain objectives tough.

              There are so many ways to play the mission, the other night Ace King, Kit Pig and I went against Fizalan who played Blufor. Whilst KP and AK went in the same direction but seperate, I went and took a road junction and created a killing zone of civs and anything that drove by, end result was a bus load of civs killed, a Ural destroyed, a Police jeep with 6 SWAT loaded were blown up by a satchel charge I placed, along with three cars and one Humvee! It looked like the road to Basra!! Total Carnage! Meanwhile KP was on a rampage at the Turtle Bay Resort and AK was attacking assets at the airbase....

              Exactly what I wanted when I thought of the mission, lots mission choice, many different ways to complete it, a certain amount of randomness to keep it fresh and a human opposition element to keep it a challenge!

              Uhao is a great map and I encourage more people to create missions for this island, but try and keep the use of scripts to a minimum, i.e wounding scripts, bandages etc etc are all nice, but they hurt the servers. Minimum scripts mea less server crashes and more stable games. That's just the way ArmA is.

                Played this the other day, terrorist had a field day while Blufor seemed to just be stuck around base (lost choppers due to disconnects and afk RPG attack ) but looked really great just would have been so much better with full teams. One thing though, why cant we use the BH it would be perfect for sea patrols (the boats are far too slow to catch anything) also why no british weapon crate, british are in it right? so wouldnt they have brough spare weapons and ammo etc?

                But anyone great mission anyone up for a game of it tonight?

                    That was me playing as Fizalan (Boot is a crappy name for ArmA), and I have to say it's a nice mission. Having been off line for about 6 months I didn't know what the terrorists looked like, though, and wasted a lot of time following around AI civvies thinking it was you guys on the sly.

                    I played a bit tonight on the bad guy side and set a nice trap for the king. I managed to take him out but unfortunately got pegged just after.

                    Congrats Blackdog on a well made mission. It has the things that Sahrani Life lacked -- mainly focus on the terror/anti-terror aspects through the objectives.

                      Thank you sir, glad to see you in the community, unfortunately I had to bail tonight as the girly called to take me out for dinner, which is always nice!
