  • Fast ropes!

    There have been fast rope scripts available for ArmA for a long time yet no one uses the scripts. I would love to see fast ropes being used on Avgani, that would make dropping off troops in the city easier. The last time I dropped off troops in the city using a black hawk I couldn't find an area large enough to land except for the highway which was IED. Please mission designers start implementing the fast rope script it makes pilots and infantry happy :)

        I went to go study the script featured in the video, but the comments and variable names are in spanish (o.0) The other script you posted is a bit ****.

          Yeah I know the second script is a bit **** but you can at least read how to set it up and it is reliable. As for the first script I suggest you use a translator [email protected] thats where I got the second script from but I found another one on opfec, I cant find a video but heres a link http://www.ofpec.com/ed_depot/index....=295&game=ArmA

                Only problem seems to be is that that item would be an additional addon. Would work well if we got the TG Add-on pack running again.

                  There are various way to simulate a fast rope insertion. Since I wanted to add this option to a mission of mine, I'm trying to convert a fastropeinsertion addon in scrpts. I'll let u know if I menaged.

                    I would like to see this on the server, Spanish is my native language, so I could translate that script if you guys provide me the text.
