  • Good old basic ammo box problem...

    Hey guys,


    its probably something very simple but i can get the box the empty the original item... However the new one do appear in the box.

    Code:

    _itemAmount=10;
    _magAmount=;
    
    _this allowDamage false;
    
    //Clear box
    clearWeaponCargo _this;
    clearMagazineCargo _this;
    
    _this addmagazinecargo ["ClaymoreDirectionalMine_Remote_Mag", _magAmount];
    _this addmagazinecargo ["HandGrenade", _magAmount];
    _this addmagazinecargo ["SmokeShell", _magAmount];
    any hints?

    I'm still very new to arma scripting, but at first glance you're referencing _magAmount for the amount, which you've declared as empty, instead of _itemAmount which is 10.

      i dont have problems putting stuff in the box, just emptying the orginal gear that is inside the box.

          You have:

          clearMagazineCargo _this;
          It need:

          Code:
          clearWeaponCargo this;
          clearMagazineCargo this;
          Assuming you are calling this in the Init. box within the editor.

              Peanutbutter bro, you were right. the problem was with me putting nothing in the mag and weapon amount...as soon as i putsomething in there it works.
