  • MLRS woes

    Howdy.
    So ive been messing around with the mlrs and i cannot get it too work with the arty module so that it can be player controlled. Ive tried searching around the net for a tutorial or solution but to no avail.
    Whenever i open the targeting window i cannot see where the mlrs is supposed to be shooting, it just stays static no matter where i point the actual rocket stack.

    Is there a solution to this?
    And yeah ive sync'd the module up to the piece and even tried maing myself spawn outside of it and sync'd myself up too. :( :( :(

    Hell yeah there's a solution!

    In the unit's init, do the following:

    Code:
    nul = [this] execVM "mlrs_Warmup.sqf";
    and in mlrs_Warmup.sqf:

    Code:
    //initialize unit
    private ["_mlrs"];
    _mlrs = _this select 0;
    
    _mlrs removeMagazine "12Rnd_MLRS";
    
    _mlrs addMagazine "ARTY_12Rnd_227mmHE_M270";

      Youve lost me.......where do i find mlrs_warmup.sqf?

        just make a .txt in notepad and save it as 'mlrs_warmup.sqf' and put it in the saved mission folder. Make sure to save it as type 'all files'. That'll do it.
