    Hi guys,
    I'm struggling with finding a way to create a marker on the map via script/trigger.

    Marker would be a blue dot and showed as - "UN Convoy rendezvous point".

    createMarker?

    Then you'd have to use setMarkerColor, setMarkerType and so on to change it to your needs.

      Yeah, but how do I choose place on map to put the marker? I can't find a command that would do it for me.

          You could create an empty marker from the editor first and get the position of it.

          Code:
          createMarker ["NameOfMarker", getMarkerPos "emptymarker"];
          EDIT: oops, didn't see Sam's post. I'll leave this here as an example.

            You can put down a gamelogic and getPos that, or you can use another marker. You might also be able to have a regular empty marker at that location and then change its type to make it visible when needed, I don't know if that works. You can also just input the location manually, by doing a "hint getPos this" on a gamelogic at the spot you want it to be, and using the resulting output - note you don't need the last number as marker Z doesn't make any difference.
