  • Steps for missions broken by removing CAA1 - READ THIS PLEASE! Important!

    As a member of TG Mission Dev-Team, I just found out that few of my missions will not start, because of missing addon 'Extra.Units'. Its caused by removing CAA1, which as we know, added itself into the missions lots of times. I'm sure there will be much more missions that will simply not start.

    We should create thread just like when one of our previous ACE updates broke things.
    Mission makers will have to open their mission.sqf and delete lines with CAA1, or open it in editor and find objects using CAA1, re-pbo it and send links with their mission into this thread provided on forum.

    * MISSION NAME
    * PBO NAME
    * LINK TO DOWNLOAD

    Rule is that nothing else can be changed/edited in the mission, except for deleting CAA1 files from the mission. There is going to be consequences for people caught trying to submit mission with changes and go around Q&A process.
    Then the files will be send into servers progressively during this week, when there is an admin around. This way we will be able to get missions back on server fairly quickly.

    Could someone help me out in this process?
    What I was thinking was porting my mission in pieces, like one squad at a time and see if the units breaks the mission.
    Think that will work?

      Unfortunately, most likely there is no way to fix the mission, unless copying piece by piece. I would just make it again. It usually comes out better :).
