  • HELP!: "connection failed"

I'm not sure what's going on but here's the info so far

Six updater: mods up to date (green tiles)
    ACRE: 1.2.10

For some reason I can't connect to any ARMA servers. I have network connection, and my ping is usually right around 109 on the TG server (which is average for me). whether or not I type the right PW, it still pops up with a message "connection failed". When I try and join server directly from six it freezes on a screen that says "waiting for host", until I escape, and it brings me to the main menu. The weird part is this is only semi-consistent (seems more often when domi is running). Sometimes I can load just fine. Does anyone have this same problem or know how to fix it?

    thanks,
    Shoomfie

Do you get the same results on Alpha server? Did this just start recently?

Yes... it happens on every server (TG, 15thMEU, etc.). However, occasionally, I am able to connect. I don't know if it's my hardware, software or my network setup. It's been happening for a couple of weeks.

Shoomfire try to catch us on TS for a one on one to resolve your problem, but in the mean time under "edit tools" at the top of Sixupdater, click preset and make sure your profile is set to " Combined Arms" and not Auto detect.

          Re: HELP!: "connection failed"

strange solution: Don't press anything at all (jayarmalib update, Teamspeak, SU, etc), until Arma is fully loaded.

          Problem solved, Thanks.
