corrupt file probably from a scratched/smudged disc, delete and reinstall.

What stage of install is this happening in?

Clean the drive as well, while not as likely the reader could be having an issue. (by clean I mean blow out the cd/dvd tray/insides with compressed air or some such like approach.)

Delete your local temp files, in case the original install is still cached on your hard drive and trying to use the improper/damaged files.
Failing that, you could try disabling Anti Virus and other programs while running the install, but it is most likely a smudged disk.

a minor possibility is bad ram inserting errors. Just keep it in mind.

I had that issue first time I installed, and I solved it a very odd way. Simply copy-paste the entire content of the DVD onto some folder on the HDD, and run the installer from there. For some reason my DVD couldn't read the disk properly that time, although nowadays it works like a charm.
