    Not sure if what you propose would be possible and sometimes you need to exit for RL things quickly... The best option would be a disconnect/abort timer (if you move or get hit it cancels), and if people try to force quit in the middle of a fire fight or a hoard of zombies then have the players character stay in world for X amount of seconds before it disappears.

    In most of the games I have played where people quit to avoid confrontation, this is usually what has been implemented in some way or another. Not sure if its possible to implement it into ARMA but I think I've seen discussion on it before.

    Kudos for trying to come up with something different though.
