Updated to Update 6. I’m still in the process of deciding what I’m going to do about my joystick…if anything.

Kudo's to Sharpe for trying to spark new interest in the TG community. Though Falcon 4 is not my first choice, I will do my best to try and scratch my newly reinvigorated flight sim itch, though my current passion is A-G with DCS products.

I'll save my pitch on including DCS stuff somewhere in Tactical Gamer for another thread / discussion.... :)

We will be moving into A-G Training in a few weeks, just not ready for it yet. Look for Mangeface though if you haven't already, he's been doing lots of DCS stuff multiplayer. Personally I think Falcon has a lower learning curve and a slightly easier flight model for new pilots, so the entrance to the game is easier, I think, then the DCS products.

Excellent run from everyone, proficiency ratings went up across the board. We also started Air-to-Ground training with a training strike on an undefended airfield. Stirling and I successfully took out the ATC Tower and the Radio tower, and he got several hits on the runway with his mavericks as well. Madcat and CanaDave took the second flight in and destroyed the Radar Tower, Madcat was still getting used to the jet but did manage to get back on course after getting significantly lost from the rest of us. We all ended up in the hanger at the end, shut down our jets and popped our canopies. All in all a very good training mission. Stirling and I even managed a very magical tandem takeoff in perfect formation.

Very happy so far with how everyone is progressing in their training.
