  • resupplying deplyoables *please read*

    it's very important to only throw an ammobag onto a deployable when it's out of ammo, otherwise you'll go through ammocrates very quickly, wich is a huge waste. often seen mortar crews throwing ammobags onto the mortar after every shot fired, it's not very practical and please keep it in mind. Makes it much less stressfull for logistic crews and the ammocrates lasts much much longer. thanks.

      1 ammo bag = 4 morter rounds.
      morter only holds 12 rounds.
      3 ammo bags = full resupply

      i think a crate has 6 ammo bags in it, so thats around 24 morter rounds.

        Using transport trucks instead of logi's when ammo is needed instead of crates really frees up logi trucks

          Exactly and dropping four ammo crates in one place means a nice quick reload of those ammo bags.

              Takes significantly more time to be ready to fire again and takes 2 incendiaries to accomplish. You're taking a minimal gain from using less supplies, but taking a significant amount of time rebuilding them.

                SL can remove friendly assets without thermite... but yeah the shoveling probably takes longer than just dropping an ammo bag.

                I did not realize that they eat ammo even when full, thank you for the heads up!

                  SL can only remove 'destroyed' state deployments. One incendiary is still required.

                    The deployables do not eat ammo when they are full. An ammo bag just hangs out in the pit until ready for use.

                      Also remember 1 ammo bag per kit is drop able at a time. So one rifleman kit cant drop 2 ammo bags without the first one disappearing.

                      Mortar crews should have a kit other than riflemen so that every 2 mins they can request a rifle kit and use its free ammo.

                      If you re playing a 4km map that might be trouble for supplies (Iron Eagle 64 has only 1 trans chopper per side) its usually better only to rebuild and request rifleman kits without reloading. 4km maps usually require less mortar spam anyway.

                        But it will be immediately used once a single round is missing.

                        Throwing an ammo bag on a mortar pit when it has less than 4 rounds from it's maximum capacity is wasteful. Throwing one on it when it's full is near useless.
