    Distinguished Armor Specialist (Class I)
    M.Warren

    Nomination:
    Recommended Award: Distinguished Armor

    Game/Server:Battlefield2 PRM, TG server

Place and Time:Qwai River, Sunday password night 2/10/08

    Nomination:
When this round started I joined M.Warren in a tank on the Chinese side after conversing via Teamspeak. We waited several minutes for an engineer to join us; he was adamant we did not roll out without one. Once we did, though, Warren ran a very tight ship. We started out patrolling the road west and north of Fishing Village, preventing enemy APCs and infantry squads from crossing the river and assaulting. Our engineer helped repair friendly assets while the tank gave cover. Once Fishing and Government were secured we crossed the river and patrolled the main highway north-south in front of Government, keeping enemy vehicles from engaging our troops at the Government Office and Mine flags. He also was aware of our engineer's status and tried to keep him alive whenever possible, even traveling halfway across the map to a friendly squad at a firebase for medical attention.

M.Warren was a highly capable driver and leader, he kept the tank on the move with masterful control of speed and positioning, allowing me to take out targets with one shot within seconds of spotting. He co-ordinated well with the infantry squads and other armor units. Under his command we lost only one tank, over an hour and a half into the map. That was our only death the whole round (though our engineer did unfortunately die a few more times, once at my hands due to my own lack of awareness). I think he deserves recognition for the skill and knowledge he has in using armored units.

    Distinguished Armor Specialist (Class I)
    |TG-Irr|Warlab

    Nomination:
    What?
    Distinguished Armor

    Where?
    Kashan Desert = MEC Team

    When?
    February 14, 2008

    How?
During the inital stages of the battle, I was squad leader of a mech squad with 2 tanks and myself as squad leader. WARLAB was gunner in the lead tank and knocked out 2 enemy Bradley FV's and 1 tanks on the ridge overlooking the bunkers. Shortly after, (after a devestating A10 attacK) we regrouped. WARLAB was on the AA in a similar formation of 2 tanks. We again moved on the hill and he took the same enemy A10 out while we were under heavy fire from ground and air forces. Later in the game while moving on South Village, WARLAB manned the single tank that covered our infantry advance on the village, allowing us to eventually put up a bunker, AA gun and assult the village and take the point. Our squad racked up 4800+ points for the team, and WARLAB gleaned over 20 kills earning the gold for the game.

I feel the team loyalty, ability and dedication to the squad in a consistant tank position is worthy of recognition.

    Distinguished Squad Leader (Class 3)
    |TG-X|d1sp0sabl3

    Nomination:
I would like to nominate Disposablehero for the SL Class III award (if it has to go in order, from class I and up, please by all means change this to Class II status).

The reason I am nominating Disposablehero for this award, is that he deserves it on all accounts. He particulary showed his excellent communication/and squad leading skills last night feb 11 into the early morning hours of feb 12 on the Qwai River map.

I was put in command for the USMC side, and without hesitation through communication disposablehero waited for my orders, and proceeded to the Mine objective after I realized that, that map was going to be one of the most important chokeholds/flags of the map. He proceeded without any hesitation whatsoever.

Throughout the round, which at times became very stressful due to lack of communication with other squads/pilots, disoposablehero was both very patient and courteous with me, and kept me updated with what was going on and around the battlefield at whichever time i asked for a status update.

This however is not the first time, I have had the privledge of being the commander while disposablehero is an SL, in fact this is actually the second time on Qwai where I have had the chance to command over him and each time, whether its on this map, or jabal or any other he proves himself up and beyond the bar of squadleading in PR on the TG server.

Towards the middle of the round when things were starting to get very hairy, Disposablehero was able to lead his squad across the river and make a push towards fishing village where at one point he captured it and was then ultimately taken out.

Even when the round was turning towards the chinese after ironically both jdams were launched on different targets (usmc on fishing village, Chinese on Gov't office) Disosablehero was a calming voice over the microphone as he instructed what he planned to do with his squad to first push onto gov't, and then ultimately listening to my order to have him move back up to mine, and defend since we still had a Firebase in place. During this time, did his voice crack or change in a way that would sound negative, he was professional during every minute of the round.

As usual, if it wasn't for disposable and his placement of his squad, who I might add defended mine, when I could no longer get him support of armor, to the very end. He has proven himself within in the TG PR community to be a force to be reckoned with, his tactics are sharp, knowing exactly how to place his squadmembers, and with what kits they are to use to be the most useful.

If i command again, even if i have to deal with one manned apcs or SL with no mics, i feel a sense of relief if he is in charge of a squad, knowing that he will lead them with the best intentions so they are the most dangerous as well as letting me know what is going on at all times, and leading in a professional manner.

Dirt I know this is a bit lengthy but disposablehero has earned this award. He really is one of the Top 3 squad leaders on the TG server. And I hope that this nomination allows the TG community to see exactly how good of a SL and team player he is.
