Please congratulate your fellow players on their accomplishments both on and off the battlefield!!

    Engineer Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: Xecafundo, Picafundo

    Nomination:
While playing Kashan 64 on 09 AUG 08, Xecafundo and Picafundo displayed exemplary conduct and outstanding resolve as the enginneers for the ******** squad. xecafundo was assigned to be engineer for the tank manned by ****** and ******, Picafundo was assigned to the other tank, manned by ****** and ******. Throughout the round, they performed their duties without question or hesitation, repairing us time and again to prevent our tanks from being destroyed, frequently doing so in heavy incoming fire from armor, anti-aircraft, heavy anti-tank rocketeers and enemy close air support.

They never once complained about doing what is probably one of the most boring and inglorious jobs in the game. We even offered them the opportunity to man tanks themselves, to which they declined, and we're actually very glad they did as there is no way we could have kept up at the dizzying pace which they were working at.

These two gentlemen are certainly deserving of the Distinguished Engineer award for the amazing performance they displayed.

    Anti-Tank Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: MarineSeaknight, =Sonic_Striker=

    Nomination:
Sonic and Marine were in a tow Humvee together, ***************. We rode around destroying every armor in sight. Marine would use flawless tactics and showed skills and knowledge of the enemy tanks, While Sonic kept out a sharp eye and a fast and accurate trigger finger to hit those enemy tanks. They killed a total of 3 tanks and an APC.

    Distinguished Squad Leader, Class I

    Awarded to: creepinshadow24/7

    Nomination:
I was CO of the MEC side on Kashin 16 . He was the squad leader of squad 5. He did an awesome job from my perpsective. Always communicating, keeping me informed of the good and the bad. I could always rely on him to get a job done when the odds were against him.

What really stands out in my mind is how he persevered at South Village. His squad took South village after we had lost it. They then defended from constant attack while the rest of the squads took North and South Bunker. I must say it was close in that we nearly lost South Village a few times.

Once we had both bunkers Squad 5 was instrumental in taking and holding North Village. Squad 5 was the only squad to keep their rally and place constant pressure on North Village.

    Sniper Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: Gunner_of_Doom

    Nomination:
While on the British team as a sniper, Gunner_of_Doom set up positions overlooking the Oil Production flag of Al Kufrah oilfields. With the aide of a spotter, he provided covering fire for the infantry to move in. Rather than using the weapon with kills in mind, he chose his targets carefully, taking out strategically important targets, such as Auto-riflemen and HAT units, before engaging the rest. Not only this, but he relayed information that he acquired on the field, such as the locations of tanks, APCs, and anti-tank weapons, to the team, making sure that no vehicle or infantryman was harmed by them. He stayed in position the entire round, making sure that the flag was well covered.
He ended the round without a single death, making sure that he remained concealed and silent.

    Distinguished Squad Leader, Class I

    Awarded to: O=T-M-A-N=O

    Nomination:
    |TG-E1st|_TMAN during tonight's battle at Jabal al Burj displayed exemplary conduct while leading his 2nd (Cheetos) squad in a come from behind victory. After an initial capture of East al Burj the 2nd squad moved on East Beach only to meet enemy forces at the village north west of the flag. Suffering heavily to enemy fire, and unable to make headway, TMAN pulled us out and moved the squad west towards the Bridge flag when he noticed it had fallen. Although it was early in the battle there was a feeling in the squad members that the battle was about to be lost. TMAN urged as not to give up and to move west to the Bridge to try to stop the rapidly advancing enemy. Before we arrived the enemy captured the flag and hastily moved on to the north. TMAN had 2nd squad slide in behind them and hide under the bridge to recap the flag. This action stopped the enemy advance and turned the tide in our favor. Following that TMAN urged is on as he lead us west to Dam, taking it before turning back east to the Bridge. In our absence the Bridge had fallen again requiring its recapture. 2nd squad did so and moved on to East Beach finally taking that with the help of another squad. Shortly after, the defeated Marines retreated to their carrier. When defeat seemed emminent, |TG-E1st|_TMAN never gave up and kept our squad together and led the team to victory. For his outstanding leadership of his squad it is my honor to recommend him for this award.

    Assault Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: danthemanbuddy

    Nomination:
at the start of the round he was excellent attacking south bunker, defending it till we got north bunker. He ordered his squad to build my bunker inside south bunker and attacked the incoming mec into south entrance of bunker complex. Because no other squad i ordered to attack on south village was able to do it, he stepped up and asked if he and his squad could to this. He had the great idea to take a truck with him to build a fb near south village, after that he capped south village and so he kept them away from attacking the bunker complex. We could cap mec outpost, then he attacked mec main, after a hard defense he greyed it and with the help of another squad he and his squad capped mec main. While this fight he was able to put the jdam on a very good location inside mec main after he capped the flag.
    He everytime followed my orders.
He and his squad was able to cap and hold 3 flags.
At the fight on south bunker i was near him, very impressed how good he played.
With his help and long range thinking we won the round.

    Distinguished Commander, Class I

    Awarded to: cremcakeclarky

    Nomination:
I would like to nominate cremcakeclarky for the Distinguished Commander award because of his persistent efforts in the field on the TG PR server. He is always willing to be the commander and does a great job whenever he takes the position. He is always willing to listen to input from the squadleaders about their situation and what they think could be done to strengthen the efforts of the team. He is always fair towards his squadleaders and the like.

When cremcakeclarky is commanding you never feel like you are missing input and he always seem to relay important messages between the squad. Communication is really good when he is commanding. He is always quick to respond to requests for backup or some information.

I have seen him take a team full of random players and form them into a good team that ended up winning over a team filled with regulars (unfortunately I cannot remember when this was but not too long ago, forgot to write the nomination back then). He have really showed me how important a good commander is.

    Medic Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: Ristin

    Nomination:
I would like to nominate |TG-X|Ristin for his distinguished work as a combat medic on Kashan Desert, 9/1/08.

Ristin volunteered to be the squad medic during this round and proved his worth as he provided countless revives of fallen squad mates and was always there with the medic bag to heal bleeding comrades. His selfless work kept our squad intact, which allowed us to keep on task and ultimately help keep the team in the game.

An example of his heroism: Our team had lost both of the middle bunker flags to the enemy, so we left the main in a blackhawk and were deposited outside the north entrance to the bunkers. No sooner had I set the squad rally in the ditch when our blackhawk was shot down by an enemy T-90, which was about 100m away and was not seen by anyone on approach. We were pinned down.

The squad tried to make it into the entrance to find cover from the monstrous tank and it's lethal fire, but to no avail. Finally, Ristin made in to cover while the rest of us tried to sprint in under the cover of smoke. The T-90 fired a HEAT round right into the middle of the smoke and decimated the squad, neutralizing our rally. All hope was lost, except Ristin was still there. Lying in a heap in the middle of the entrance we all heard "Don't give up boys! Don't give up! I've got you!" And sure enough, Ristin puts himself in harms way, with a T-90 watching the smoke for any signs of movement, and revives both myself and another squad member and brings us back to cover to be healed. I was able to re-establish our squad rally, and the remaining members of the squad were able to spawn in. At this time, the enemy T-90 was destroyed, and we were able to move to establish a fire base so help could come in and we re-took the northern bunker in the complex.

Without Ristin's bravery, our team would have lost both flags and have been rolled off the map a lot sooner than what had happened.

Because of his actions that were above and beyond the call of duty, and his commitment to his teammates above himself, I gladly submit this nomination for |TG-X|Ristin for Distinguished Combat Medic, Class I

    Armor Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: ollie_fool

    Nomination:
Ollie was a bit reluctant to engage my plan of rush down the center in our tank and then confront enemy tanks on the flanks, but when we were engaged he was able to take out enemy tanks quickly and take minimal damage. During this round, only 1 enemy tank was actually aware of your presence due to Ollie's sneaky gunning, and even then he was still able to destroy it on a 1v1 engagement. In the end, Ollie racked up 27 kills in 30 minutes and kill nearly all the Mec Armour expect for an BMP-3 which friendlies got after our shot
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Armor Specialist, Class I

    Awarded to: Eavy Gunner

    Nomination:
At the beggining of this game i joined gunners tank squad in the hope of defeating many infanty targets,as there was only 1 tank availible, we limited ourselves to 3 men and Gunner, as the squad leader decided to Carry out a very risky flanking Manoeuvre, we drove down the centre of the map, strait towards refinery. By thinking out of the box gunner managed to get us right up behind the first enemy tank and bmp, which we quickly dispatched with 2 shots to the back, we then moved towards oil storage, where we had inteligence that the lost three tanks were bunkered in. We approched from refinery only to see the very top of two tank turrets facing away from us. Again we quickly destroyed these two tanks, as they had no idea where we were, the final tank was positioned at the oil production fence, and with a few long ranged shots we finished the last tank off, with that we headed to support the allready succesfull attack on refinery, and eventually, the assault on MEC main which made us victorious with only our engineer dying once. I beleive gunner deserves this ribbon for his clear tactical thinking and ability to comand the armor at his disposal to the best use.

    Distinguished Volunteer, Class II

    Awarded to: disposableHero

    Nomination:
Disposable is the ultimate admin. Every time I log in CC I see him actively monitoring the server. He is extremely active on the forums, helping to keep the main PR forums tidy and spam-free, and is almost always the first person to respond to the Contact an Admin forum. Quite frankly the release of 0.8 would have been a much different experience if Disposable hadn't been so active in keeping the server smacktard-free. With the current lack of admins and the fact that many of us have real-life issues keeping us away Disposable is picking up the slack plus a ton more.

Congratulations again to all of you on these fine achievements. Please keep the nominations coming in!
