  • Your favorite PR Map - A Poll

    Maps

We have great maps on PR. I would like to thank the developers for the time and thought that went into making them.

Everyone has a favorite map. What is it?

This poll thread would only take 15 options, so I dropped a few maps.

Re: Your favorite PR Map - A Poll

I haven't voted because I don't really have a favorite map. for me it depends more on the team then what map it is. I can have a great game on basrah with a good squad but I can also have a terrible round where the same map is the worst I have ever played. The same goes for the rest of the maps up there
If people are becoming so bored when playing that they have to resort to this immature behaviour I will give them something to do, call it a project. The project is "appeal a ban". - Wicks

Can't we have a poll on the least liked map soon? ;)

Re: Your favorite PR Map - A Poll

I picked Operation Barracuda for the fact that it forces the USMC players to work as a team and its overall layout. Fools road runs a very close second because it is a large balanced map with good cover for infantry to hide.

Any map that includes a well coordinated team is my favorite. Lately, insurgent maps have become some of my best experiences in PR (and that would be on either side, not just BluFor).

Re: Your favorite PR Map - A Poll

I know this is probably considered heresy when I say this but I truly liked Hills of Hamyong, just because of it's face paced action, especially in the 16 player version. Unlike other maps that require long walks thanks to limited assets, this map was a straight forward slaughter fest. If there was a worst map poll I would have to say Operation Archer, it's just too lopsided of a map for my taste

                    It's a very love/hate relationship with KASHAN.

Re: Your favorite PR Map - A Poll

I chose 3, one of which was Muttrah, that's what the urban insurgency maps need to be like, more buildings enterable, more rooftops and more streets and intersections for choke points. I like CQB insurgency.

Qinling is an awesome map, I don't know why people say it's too laggy, I run Bf2 on 1.7GB of RAM or something, with a 4 year old computer, which hums and becomes warm a little too quickly. And it doesn't lag much for me except if I was a helicopter gunner, and even then it wouldn't be so bad.

Although a few months ago I did strip down my comp, did some cleaning work, and it was like brand new, old technology!

Fools 64, but it might change in the next release (i hate AKs) My next would be Ramiel, then Kongeral

I chose Kashan, but I only like Kashan 16. I love infantry fights without being blown up by some attack chopper/jet 800m off the ground. Nothin like a good ol' Humvee/Vodnik squad.

I chose Quai, but any map with a good squad is time well wasted.
