  • Question regarding Supporting Membership

I apologize in case this has flown over my head, but does a supporting membership affect all tags on your Project Reality? Does it simply stick to ArPeeGee? The IP? My brother (short_round_mcfly, who also plays on Tactical Gamer), is willing to split the sub cost with me. I'll likely just fork out the eight dollars even if it only sticks to one name. No longer having to wait at the server select sounds fantastic. :P

    Re: Question regarding Supporting Membership

You can only enter one player id, so only one of your bf2 account's would get the reserved slot, I think. The supporting membership is linked to your forum account.

      Re: Question regarding Supporting Membership

In order for the effect to take place, you have to put your player ID number in a field in your profile. It is possible for the membership to serve you both, you just have to change the ID number in your profile every time you switch who is playing.

You cannot both be supported at the same time.

it would probably be easier for you to just get 2 seperate SM's. either that or you share one BF2 account

            Different question.
Do you have to use your forum name as your in-game name if you are a SM ?
Or can the SM slot go to any screenname ?

              Re: Question regarding Supporting Membership

Technically the in-game slot ties to your ProfileID. This is a 9 or 10 number digit based on the soldier name that you choose inside BF2 / PRRM. The back end system that ensures you get a member slot keeps a record of all entered ProfileID's in the TacticaGamer.com's supporting members Control Panels.
If you change the ProfileID in your Control Panel it will take apprx. 15 minutes before it will register in the game.

                  Thats in the help files

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.
