  • #1 0.86 thing to remember!

When 0.86 does come out, reminder to everyone that:

IF YOU ARE SHOT WITHIN 60 SECONDS OF BEING REVIVED, YOU WILL BE KILLED INSTANTLY AND BE IRREVIVABLE.

I know most people do not read the manual, so best point it out here.

        Good.

As someone that has always liked playing medic, I am all for this.

However, although it seems more back to the older PR ways with an added touch, I'd like the headshot to be back. Just being wounded with the ability of revive in near enough every situation, for me, is not the way forward. A bit vanilla for me. Instant kills made it a much 'deeper' game, if I can say that. I think this would have been a better option, or both.

Also, I can't be bothered to look at my watch to see when a minute is up.

        Infact, I don't have one!

To me watches do my head in.

Man, are they gonna play with my sense of wellbeing?!

        Such eviulness.

I would be all for adding headshots back, but accuracy needs to be tweaked before reimplemnting it. Long range engagements should be inneffective unless your whole squad is helping, and CQB should be more like COD4 except slightly less accurate weapons. This deviation system could probably never be implemented tho, as when ever you walk in scoped mode you have ****e accuracy.

This sounds a lot more realistical yes, since a wounded soldier being shot is screwed even more. Headshots are ofcourse deadly, maybe being shot in the throat would be deadly as well, question is if the hitbox does encircle the neck.

I hope they put in roping from helicopters. :D
Foxwolves or folves for short are very versatile. Sniper, engineer, soldier, strategist, medic, commando.
                All in one package.
The most obvious though is death.

Medics must clear the enemy threat before reviving now..

Also if you are going to Request a Kit.. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do not spawn as medic, no other players will be able to get the medic kit in your squad untill you die and respawn.

This sounds absolutely lethal. May god have mercy on the OPFOR's souls.

The MEC will have a hk21 (until they model the scoped MG3) with a 4x zoom as well, which i would much prefer over the M249 becuase of the superior controllability, damage, and burst function. The field of vision sighted in will also be better than the M249's Elcan---remember the .609 M16?

You have to absolutely show it to me for yourself then when in a chopper, I gotta see someone else do it. ;)

The number one thing I like about this patch has to do with medics, specifically medic spamming. 2-3 medic squads were a standard for most squad leaders. 33-50% of your squad as medical personnel is simply unrealistic.

Also, there always have been a lot of people who simply avoided being medic, for whatever reason. With the limiting of the kit, I think that could change, as the act of limiting gives it perceived value. It also means, however, that letting newbies learn on the fly is not the best idea, due to them being your only medic.

This bear's repeating. It was my understanding that the Medic was actually going to be a requestable kit itself, but if it is also a spawnable kit, it is extremely important that people remember not to spawn with it unless they plan to use it.
