    http://www.hmarmedforces.com/army.htm

Found this the other night when looking for a birthday present for a friend, and I remember selling these at Argos during the Christmas. I dont know if the money made by them supports the troops in anyway, but it definatly makes the children aware of the armed forces while not showing them people getting ripped apart by HE rounds.

Plus some of them are actually really authentic, and might make good window ledge ornaments, as opposed to boring 19th Century fine china. Or it could be the new "PR without a computer"

Germany ? Doubt it, you know what they would cost if they would have been produced in Germany ?

These guys manage to produce quality toys in Germany at a reasonable price, even with spare parts available:

              http://www.bruder.de/

My little boys truck has lasted two years so far, try that with made in China quality.

I used to love the action man TV commercials like this one.

I think after they got bought by hasbro they turned into Plastic poopy trucks.

That being said my old tonka as a kid had a rough life and still to this day is moving dirt, jumping ramps, and generally kicking ass at my god sons.
