    ask an admin, if possible he will try to switch you back.
    its not everytime possible, cause if i switch someone to the team with more players another player will get switched to the team with lower players. just be patient, wait till the teams are even and switch back.

        I agree with Gunner, we should make auto teams apply to the living and not just the dead.

          snoogs, if you could get me the scripts for autobalance, I know enough about programming that I could almost certainly add a toggle.

          I imagine it just has some logic like
          Code:
          if(!Player[i].isAlive())
               Player.switch();
          I could also add some nice "extras", like prioritizing those who have been playing the longest, etc (Not sure how I'd handle that; easiest way would probably be a peek at how the SM kick script handles it), and exempting those who have already been swapped once.

            Thing is though... if we have it affect the living... imagine how much more fun it will be when

            "RUnning along.. running along.. running along. DEAD Team changed."

            No bullet, no shell, nothing killed you... you were jsut team changed instantly.... fun.

              I was joking, I'm fairly certain it uses the in game balance code which switches dead players only, just like manually switching players through bf2cc only works when they are dead.

                I think alot of people complain about autobalance when the teams are already stack, because they got switched to the "uncool" team...

                And you will never hear these people say a word about autobalance, when they get switched to the "cool" team.

                          Definitely not me. I'm unhappy with it even when I'm on the losing team. Generally, it's annoying because I've already got a squad I'm working with, or even leading, and having to go find a new group of players to work with that will be COUNTER to the guys I was just working with... without my consent?

                          Honestly, I'd rather quit the server and come back another time. It ruins the experience to be suddenly wrenched away from the players you're already having a fun time with.

                            How should we go about balancing the game midround when one team ends up being down numerous players?
