CO rally point it great, its one of my fav features of this build.

6 men and 2 SL kits in the area and the CO can set a rally that the whole team can use for a limited time.

I will be at the front yelling at you to advance you lady boys. "GET ON LINE AND SLAY BODYS! YOUR CO DEMANDS THE SOULS OF OUR ENEMYS!!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Fall back I failed AHHHHHHHHHH *drops RP*"
"GET ON LINE AND SLAY BODYS! YOUR CO DEMANDS THE SOULS OF OUR ENEMYS!!"

and so on and so on.

*Prays that the feedback will be positive unlike some of the jumping to conclusion posts in the dev journal*

If anyone has 4 Gigs of Dell Compatible RAM please send it my way, or I'll post feedback on here in a few weeks.

I'll get my moaning in early then, MW2 is better *moan*

seriously whats the biggest changes in the log, anything big like deviation was previously.

I liked the bit about minimum distance between cache spawns

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

Looking foward to having an IED ready at the csb point.

You gather your team. You got your trucks ready. 1st span built then second.

              "ok guys let's get across."

infi goes 1st and secures the area. The trucks and armor soon follow.

"co we are across, no contac..."

              BOOM

                  Re: PR 0.95 Feedback

Thermals have had my heart pounding all week. I don't even fly on public servers and I rarely crew armor but those thermals are amazing. I think the 3D sights are also very beautiful.

I am very disappointed by the disabling of renderer.drawhud 0 in console. I know that people could use it to exploit by removing vehicle HUDS etc but I used the command to remove text from the screen when I wanted to film something in-game. Of all the changes in 0.95 this is the one that I don't think I will get over. I will adapt to all other changes but this one makes me cry inside a little.

There are ways to move and format a lot of those texts through localization files, you might want to look into that.

                      Code:
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_COMMANDER <§1COMMANDER§0>
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_SAY_ALL Say All:
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_SAY_SQUAD Say Squad:
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_SAY_TEAM Say Team:
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_SQUAD <§1SQUAD§0>
                      HUD_TEXT_CHAT_TEAM <§1TEAM§0>
Do you know where the §1 lines are referenced from? I assume I need to find the configs for each of those individually and edit squad, team, all, and commander.

edit: I think they're referenced from somewhere in the compiled python files in pr/python/game. anywho im gonna take this over to PR forums so I'm not spamming up this one

Well, it's really a combination, but if you need absolutely one change that truly will signify a fundamental shift in the way the game works, I'd say it's the newfound inability to pick up and use enemy special kits. To quote the changelog:

It gives a message for 15-20 seconds (enough time to get ammo/field dressings), then it blacks out the screen for 15 seconds more after which it kills the player if he doesn't drop it.
It's the only change that affects every gamemode and faction (vehicle warfare aside) equally and as drastically as the deviation changes do.

                            For AAS?

The new ticket mechanics regarding both flag captures and wounded soldiers are going to change everything.

                            For Insurgency?

The new accuracy of the markers and requirements to destroy a cache will require a paradigm shift in bluefor tactics.

All other changes are secondary, tertiary, or a negligible factor.

Also, Kevlar, apparently there's going to be a "camera kit" that will facilitate filming. I'm pretty sure and am hoping tweaks to the core game files will allow playing with drawhud.render 0 enabled on non-punkbuster protected servers, if it does fall that drawhud is gone forever, I'm going to have to rewrite a large majority of my planned tutorials, especially the ones dealing with kits.

Here's the entry from the changelog, for a bit more clarity:
