    Re: Tags

I think you have to create a new acct for the tag to show correctly. You can't use the clan tag because it is too many characters.
You'll have to create the acct this way

    |TG-Irr|Cappy

      Re: Tags

I think EA has prevented that as well, I tried making a new account a few days ago so I could put the "|" character in it, but the game didnt allow it.

        Re: Tags

Actually we allow the Irregs to use TG-Irr as the prefix without the pipes now because of the confusion.

Edit the file you were talking about Cappy and just use "TG-Irr" without the pipes.

              Re: Tags

The pipe "|" character won't show up if you try to type it at the login screen for the prefix. You can do this however: Go in to My Documents/Battlefield 2/Profiles/ and there should be a file called Global.con. This is just a text file. Open it up in notepad and you should see something about the name prefix. There's only 2 lines in mine so hopefully yours is the same. Anyways here's what my line looks like: GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "|TG"

Just add the pipe wherever you want and it will show up once you log in.
