  • For all them boys with no hops on Chora...

Err, let me rephrase. For all of those individuals finding themselves unable to clear the vertical height of the field barriers ("walls," for short) on the map of Chora, FEAR NOT! A fix is coming.

I just found this on the PR forums.

    - After that we are redoing the whole animation system, which will give us many more options, like vaulting over walls, weapon resting, more refined movements ect. And huge performance gains. And reliable 100p servers
This is by Z-Trooper, one of the Squad Developers. (See his post here)

It's been almost entertaining when a whole squad of us are crossing fields in Chora and we all jump right into the wall, only to try again... try again... try aga oh I'm out of stamina... take the long route. Ha!

I've noticed that if my stamina is less than 50%, I can't get the sprint/Jump to work. so I try to keep my stamina up near there when approaching walls. Might be all in my head, but its been working! :)

This is true, and that is one of many reasons to conserve your stamina, only using the first half but not draining it. If you find yourself in combat unexpectedly, you aren't drained of sprinting abilities.

Remember too that your aiming will be diminished if exhausted.

Yeah... but that only matters if you can aim to begin with... :)

Jump + crouch is the best method for walls near waist high. Or there are some sections you can walk over like a tight rope walker. ;)
