  • [INFO] Squad server rules updated

The admin team has been working hard reviewing and refining our rules for the Squad server over the past few weeks. As most of you know, our original rules were a mirror of our old PR server rules, but we felt that with the impending release of vehicles to the game starting in Alpha7 that we should revisit the rules and see if we could refine them any.

We have made some slight modifications to the rules, nothing major however. Please take a minute or two to review them here.

The biggest change is that there is no change to our vehicle rules from our PR server. Vehicles shall remain available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Named squads shall receive no special rights to any vehicle. The only person who can assign a vehicle is the team Commander, which is a role not currently in the game, leaving all squads on an even footing in terms of getting a vehicle. We do ask that the team squad leaders coordinate together and try to work as a team, giving consideration to those squad leaders who volunteer to perform specific functions with vehicles, such as a dedicated logistics squad, mechanized infantry, etc. The goal of the game is teamwork, so let's keep that in mind when discussing what squad gets what asset. The game mechanics for claiming vehicles will help in this regard somewhat. Admins will be on during the release and we will have absolutely no tolerance for teamkilling over vehicles. Players found doing this will be looking for another server to play on without exception.

Finally, the rules are to be considered a "living" document and are subject to constant review and change as the game mechanics evolve in each release as well as how gameplay is impacted by them.

Admins are available via teamspeak, Discord or our Contact An Admin forum to discuss conflicts in the game or other concerns you may have. Discussion of rules and disputes over them while in-game will result in the disruptive player(s) being removed so as not to disrupt and ruin the game for the other 70 players on the server.

Thanks all and have a great time!

"You milsim guys are ruining the game."
