  • [INFO] Let's talk for a second about...

    Toxicity on the server.

You know, the player who decides that everyone else on their team is stupid, an idiot, should uninstall the game, etc. etc. I'm sure you've all run across them before, haven't you?

Lately there seems to be a rash of players, usually Squad Leaders, who really want to be the team CO and feel as though they should be directing the team. Mostly they don't say anything for the better part of the round until things go bad for the team, then they'll decide to unleash their frustrations on the first squad they think are out of position.

You all know these kind of players, right?

Well, this type of behavior will not be tolerated on our servers. Toxic players will be removed.

First, we have a set of rules that clearly outline the chain of command:

Tactical Gamer requires players to follow the orders of their squad leaders and/or their commander. Failure to follow orders can result in removal from the server. To avoid any conflicts, make sure that you communicate with the commanding officer.
Nowhere in our rules do we place any one SL over another in the chain of command. Follow the order of your SL. SLs follow the orders of your commander. Agreeing to work with the other SLs on your team does not mean that any one SL has any authority over another.

    Secondly:

Players will additionally respect the TacticalGamer community and it's rules and policies, including but not limited to the rules on the game server, supporting member kicks, etc. Per the above statement regarding public disagreement with the policies of the community, please take any issues off-line from the gaming server. The admins will remove disruptive players.
This covers how you treat the other members of TG, players on the server and the admin team.

    Lastly, from the Primer:

    1) Create an environment conducive for mature gamers to enjoy the games they play without the everyday interference from the less-than-mature gamers.

    2) Create an environment where there was mutual respect for your fellow gamers and where all members would be working together to advance the enjoyment of their hobby.

If someone is ruining the game for others, whether that is teamkilling, spamming coms, racist or other hate speech, or berating other players on coms (chat or voip), we will remove them.

So don't be *that* guy. Yes, the game gets stressful and real tensions build. That is part of the enjoyment of the game. Let's just remember to keep it exactly that: enjoyable.

    Thanks!
    The TG Squad Admin Team

"You milsim guys are ruining the game."

Kudos to the admin team for dealing with the toxic players. Extra kudos to the admins for staying cool while doing it. Way to lead by example.

Great message. Let's keep TG the best place to play Squad and leave the bull**** elsewhere.
