Do you really want invincible bears running around raping your churches and burning your women?

Most of us have nearly the same steam name as our name on the forums, mine is |TG-21| MacLeod.

bought it, installed it, sat through a long choppy and crappy video, got into the first race, went to option, turned everything as low as possible and BOOM! 10FPS... yay!! LOL oh well, guess I cant race with you guys :P

                Damn, that sucks.

Mind posting up your system specs? Maybe we can find some tweaks for ya or something.

Some basic stuff that might help:

Defrag your hard disk (chkdisk couldn't hurt either)
                Run Virus and Malware scanner
If you have two physical hard drives, try placing your pagefile on your secondary drive
Kill off any unused processes. ie. any IM programs (MSN, Xfire, Steam), virus/malware "real time protection", Windows Search Indexer, any and all Apple software, all system monitoring software (cpu-z, gpu-z, speedfan), etc.

If I remember correctly, you are an IT professional so you probably won't need it, but if you do, I am here to help you with any of the above tasks.

G'luck bud and hope to see ya in my rear view mirror soon!
