They also mentioned no kill cam as being a bad thing.

Casuals, obviously. Ask any hardcore demographic and most will tell you that kill cams are silly.

please let there be no damn CG noobs in this game. Rocket launchers for armor.....bullets for people, I can't stand people that use an explosive weapon for easy kills. Shooters should take skill......not bigger explosives.

with the destructive environments you'll prolly die to exploded debris a lot. is the impression Im getting.

but with the larger environments (compared to bc2) there may be more engie gun kills than cg direct kills.

Being a regular RPS reader, I feel I should point out that that writer is of the 'games should be fun before being realistic' school. I have no problem with that - on sniper-infested servers no killcam can be annoying, but when working together and communicating* well, locating, reporting and removing enemies should be easy.
*which I very much doubt the journos at E3 were doing, or even had a chance to do.

But, yeah, rockets against infantry are really annoying. Hopefully they'll be similar to 2142's, which did ludicrous damage but in a very small area, so unless you could actually hit the enemy (difficult, as rockets/AP bullets moved quite slowly), they were only good against vehicles. It was making the rockets in BC2 essentially long-range, rapid-moving grenades that caused the problem.

I think I heard somewhere that you might be able to switch the type of rocket you fire, so Im going to imagine that you'll be able to fire frag rockets at infantry.

So, am I getting this right? All the maps are large, but are locked down like in BC2? You have to accomplish something to open up the next section? I really hope not........:(

That is basically RUSH mode, full size maps will be only available for 64 player conquest.
