  • [VIDEO] PAX News Coverage - Caspian Border Extended Gamplay

BF3 is being shown off at PAX in Seattle from the 26-28. The game mode available is Metro but on computers with 580 SLIs. The Alpha didn't have SLI enabled so this is a different build. Zh1nt0 has said there will be no live streams of the event.

Also in related news, the Battlelog website is back up and briefly mentioned Sep 1 before it was taken down. Does this mean the beta will be available Sep 1 or possibly news about the beta will be released Sep 1? Who knows. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/

    Re: PAX News Coverage

From what I remember, Gamescom had computers with 580s in SLI. With that said, I just want that Humvee... those things destroy the new Hummers that are out now. But back on topic... I doubt that we'll see much more from PAX that we did at Gamescom. It will most likely be the same show, just different venue. Sept. 1st I believe is way to soon for Beta. EA/DICE will most likely release the date a couple weeks ahead of time just so they can nab more pre-orders.

Just imagine if a girl would walk in... it would most likely be like that one scene on the nude beach from the movie Eurotrip ;)

                        Yes!!!!!!!!!!

That statement however does not apply to Conquest 64 since that is a special mode.( and the whole can't have more than 32 players in rush bit)

Good to know that I wont have to upgrade my dual 580 SLI, if I had that.

Who said it does not apply to 64 player maps?

I read that as all the maps started as 64p maps, then they squared off sub-areas for the other modes (rush, tdm, cq32, etc).

This is consistent with the methodology from their most recent release, BC2.
