  • Servers Initial Spawn Timer Too Short.

    With the amount of customization within this game i always do not have enough time between the rounds to set all 4 classes including camo and vehicle perks for a map not mentioning setting up a plan and coordinating squad perks with squad mates. I don't know exactly what it is set for now but i would like to see it at least doubled in the near future. Can we set it up at least for 2 min like in previous titles?

    I agree. 1-2 min would be much better. I think its 30secs right now?

        My guess is the admins don't have control over this yet otherwise the timer probably would've been increased already?

            I sure hope, at some point, we can get rid of the super long end-of-round screen.

              Yea I went from 13 second load times in bc2 to nearly 3 minute load times in BF3. It feels like BF2 with the stupid "shader optimization" all over again.

                You pretty much need an SSD or other FAST hard drive to get into a round before half the flags are already capped.

                    You mean how BC2 did it? It sure does seem like a step backwards. I'm half convinced it's to cover up slow server loading times.

                        There's this line in the server rules thread:

                        There is a start timer long enough for most to load in and some pre planning to occur.
                        Doesn't do anything yet I suppose?

                          Sometimes I load in right away others I am stuck waiting usually less than 2 minutes. When I get in and everything has already started or the team who loaded in quicker got to more than half the flags makes it difficult to enjoy those beginning moments. Hopefully once this can be set by the admins this will solve this problem until dice can figure out a way to reduce these loading times.
