  • Nexon rumored to have offered to purchase EA.

    Saw some rumors on the smaller gaming sites, but then it popped up on Forbes, so. Yea.

    This is, in my opinion, absolutely one of the funniest things I've ever read. Nexon is behind such korean grindfests and f2p titles as Combat Arms and Maple Story.

    Wait... Nexon?

    Nexon cannot afford to buy EA. I hope you mean the other way around. Nexon does not have billions.

      Maybe they went in the back yard and dug up one of their coffee cans with cash in it.......

          Lol, like Nexon could afford EA, and like EA would be willing to sell.

            Well regardless of what is true or not, EA stock still traded higher because of the rumors. Nice way to make a few bucks on the market.

              They might not be quite as big as EA, but they do have billions. Don't underestimate the Asian market.

                But they don't have the billions required to make a purchase.

                  Hello mates,

                  This is the most silly rumor ever!

                  EA is just a collosal corporation...

                  Look for yourself and compare the figures, following links are the balance sheets of both corporations:

                  EA --> http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/EA:US/balance-sheet

                  Nexon --> http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/3659:JP/balance-sheet

                  In the same page, check also the "Income Statement" and "Cash Flow" on the left side menu.

                  :)
