Yesterday between 3 and 5 we seeded Server 1 to full population in about 20 minutes. SQDM works very well for low server population on the CQ maps We had a great round with only 8 players going.

Yup, once you get about 5 people on, it usually goes pretty quick.

Just needs one person to start it.

In another outfit I play with regularly, they've found success using the dynamic server sizing plugin that adjusts the map size and game type automatically based on number of players in game. Can start with TDM and it shows 8 player server size in battlelog. ONce the 9th player joins, BL jumps to 9/16. You can set it to switch to CQ on the next match after 16 players join, for example. This way the server never looks like 6/64 players on TDM lol. Works really well.

Yep, it's a nice plugin. We've been running it for a few months on server #2.

It's been disabled for a while to help the regulars find the server, again the way the filter works if someone searches for 48p Conquest we'd be there one day, and gone the next.

(Sorry to derail your thread, nice maps :))

                      Re: Simplified, accurate CQ maps

Just tested the plugin again, the server R24 /Battlelog update broke it and it doesn't look like it's fixed yet. Even though the server size is 16p at the moment, battlelog shows 48.

Supposedly server R27 is in beta testing, and it might bring a fix.
