    Man, I am loving the new maps. Not just the big "BF-like" maps, but the urban ones as well. I had drifted off to Black Ops, when I wasn't really a COD type of guy, but the people playing it at TG made it for me. IMHO, the urban maps in BC2 have that same feel just a little more spread out. And the big maps big enough to be BF like (or close at least).

    I would dare say (for me at least), the new maps are most of the things that are good with each of the current titles (BC2, BlackOps), with some BF3 sprinkled in. If VoIP was working, I wouldn't be getting *any* sleep at all.

    You do not need VOIP to make it work, vis a vis squads (Teamspeak does fine, but we have all been around that subject a few times...).

    Yes, the new maps are VERY interesting. Too bad they do not support 64 players, as 64 plus COs would bring out the full tactical potential of these new lands . . .

      one of the things that I noticed was that on some of the new rush maps is that the ticket counter starts out at 75 instead of 100. Is there any way that we can adjust our server to get it back to 100 ticks to make the game last a bit longer?

        I just saw a New Map BC2 server that said its ticket count was set to 450.

        Longer play on the maps would be great, as it would allow for more strategy and response. As it is, the front lines often just get established only to have the game end.

        They are still designing for the ADD generation . . .

            We have the ability to tweak things on a per map basis.

              Is it possible to tweak tickets on initial player population, say during map load? Voodoo made a good point that a higher ticket-per-player ratio favors the attackers. That is, the more tickets the attacker gets, the more chances they have at attacking the MCOMs. Likewise, on less populated servers. Although ticket count is still at say 100, less players means the attacking team gets more chances since there is less frequency in attackers dying.

                      There is something for everyone in the new map pack. Close infantry combat and plenty of open map vehicle combat for vehicle whore like my self :-) Great job Dice and keep'em coming.
