Hmm... I always use mine. Though it would help for those who are assault to throw don't ammo if you are attaching to a recon because most likely they are in need of resupply...

        Re: Dear recons

When I play recon I go through motion sensors like they are candy...any assault players can really help me out by dropping ammo whenever they are in a safe location.

There is nothing more frustrating than playing on a team that is loaded with snipers and then they don't even do what they are supposed to do.

Seriously, we're 60% snipers and we can't even mortar barrage an MCOM that has been set or snipe the guys coming in who are trying to disarm it?

You have to consider 2 things with that comment...

1 - They could have already used up their Mortar Strike and its on cool down or they are trying to barrage but when you are channeling the strike if your LOS gets cut it resets it (hard to land one directly on when there are alot of people moving around in the area unless you aim for something near continuously)...

2 - They could be trying to kill the players disarming but either missing or not killing fast enough...etc...

From experience while on attack as a recon I do save my MS when I notice that the team/squad is doing a coordinated push to arm an objective and after I use it I do try to snipe anyone trying to disarm but unless its a hardcore server you either have to headshot people or hit them 2-4 times depending on the recon weapon... Of course ideally you want to headshot people but for most people they 2 hit or so but it gets really tough when you have 1-2+ medics throwing down heal kits all over the objective as they disarm... Also since MS can pretty much clear out an area its a double edged sword because it will kick up debri and dust which makes it harder to see/kill people around the objective.

Having me on the other team is a pretty good source of points as well.
