  • Wearing TG tags in-game helps the admins out!

As everyone knows, the admins are happy to be of service to make slots for supporting members on the BC2 servers until an automated reserved slot is in place (it's being worked on, no eta at this time).

Until then, Damonte would kindly ask that all TG members (regardless of being an SM or not) would wear their tags. There are a number of TG members who are playing and not wearing TG tags, including some supporting members. When an admin has the joy of choosing an unlucky soul to remove to make room for a supporting member, tags are a great way to helping him pick!

Please don't be one of the unlucky SMs who gets kicked accidentally because they aren't wearing their TG tags. Put on those TG tags!

And be sure to read the updated thread regarding proper TG tags.

Will the script work the same way?

In other words, will the script kick people not wearing a TG tag before kicking those who are?

The kick script never worked that way, it was based on the person who had been playing the longest.

The website feeds a list of supporting members to the script. Those are the only players "safe". As reaper said, it will kick the player who has been on the server the longest.

Should base it on who is in TS and communicating... Just saying.

So basicaly, the more you curse like a pirate, the longer you stay on the server.
Foxwolves or folves for short are very versatile. Sniper, engineer, soldier, strategist, medic, commando.
                All in one package.
The most obvious though is death.

so.... what constitutes as a TG member? being on the forum? being on TS? or is it support member only?

A TG member is someone who chooses to be affiliated with Tactical Gamer.

Supporting Members are merely TG members who financially contribute to Tactical Gamer.

You don't have to wear the tags to be an SM.

But for those that are new. Being a supporting member offers you a slot preference over a non-supporting member. Meaning non-supporting members will be kicked if a supporting member wants in the server.

Correct, but right now, we are using tags to kick for supporting members, that's what the OP is all about. I know I am looking for anyone w/out tags first when making room for supporting members. Its all manual right now.
