Specifically when ever the russian horde comes throught in there whatchmacall it apc, I'm at a loss for what to call it. Most of the time I fumble out the russian "bradley" or "apc" but that just really doesn't have a good sound to it. My personal prefrence is to call it the "Roach", but I would like to get everyones opinion on the subject. So what do you think we should name the russian APC?

I just called it the Bradley. If we would change it my vote goes for Vodka!

        Re: Nicknames

I usually call it a BMD, sometimes my inner PR player comes up and I end up calling it a BMP. Why is it more difficult to call it what it is then a Bradley or Abrams?
If people are becoming so bored when playing that they have to resort to this immature behaviour I will give them something to do, call it a project. The project is "appeal a ban". - Wicks

I vote for BMP or BMD. One could also call it the IFV as that is what the Bradley and BMP both are.

Am I the only one that calls it a light tank, like the game does?

I generally say "Bradley", "light tank", or "enemy armor".

Grrr.....I'm a military hardware nerd at heart, and it's not a light tank...silly DICE....

I call it by its name: BMD. The AA one is still the failtank.

Agreed. I keep hearing 'light tank' and wondering where the Russians refitted some old Chaffies or T-70s :)

<04:11:24> *** You are now talking in channel: "TFP - Task Force Proteus"

                      Nope.

                      To me:
Light Tank = Bradley, BMD, and that russian AA tank thing
                      Heavy Tank = T90, Abrams

                          Re: Nicknames

If your A: an Engineer, or an Assault/Recon with C4 then you should call it "destroyed armor". If your medic then it should be called "Traced armor". If your unable to do either of these then it should simply be q-spotted and left to the others who can do something about it. If you really need names then say Bradley/T90/Abrams/light tank. If its snuck behind our lines, then mention it, or if it's around a corner waiting. Sometimes it can get annoying constantly hearing contact reports on the T90 thats sitting right in front of the whole team. If its obvious to everyone, then don't bother :)

Same here. Light tank along with "friendly" or "enemy" and that's enough for me. I don't need to know the color of the pilot's shoelaces, I just want to know if it takes 1 or 2 C4 to make it fly.

I call it a BMP if it's russian and a Bradley if it's American.

And a tank is a tank.
Foxwolves or folves for short are very versatile. Sniper, engineer, soldier, strategist, medic, commando.
                              All in one package.
The most obvious though is death.
