Story is ehhh, but juts wanted to post this here for you Lunie bins that love this game

......Patrick Bach, senior producer at game developer DICE, said whether it is this technology or another, gaming is headed for 3-D soon. DICE and its owner, Electronic Arts, will be upgrading their new game, "Battlefield: Bad Company 2," into a 3-D game with a patch.
"Special hardware will be a hurdle. But we want people to experience the game in 3-D," Bach said. "We wouldn't add this if it didn't add to the game."

My buddy got the 24" 1080 Asus @ 120hz monitor and it's pretty ridiculous.. Think it was $499. Hasn't bought the 3d glasses yet but I know it will work and look great if you can push 120+ FPS... Anyone whose interested in being on the cutting edge may want to check out the Asus - it's a nice step up over the 22" monitors at 120hz.

I'm a huge critic of 3D in movies and this no different. 3D rarely adds anything except a gimmick factor and extra money spent on hardware or increased ticket prices.

Yeah it's a gimmick factor, but I've always found it to add value (entertainment) to the movies I've seen in 3D. I prefer movie that don't throw in specific 3D "shockers" (Spy Kids 3D is the only one that comes to mind currently). 3D specific scenes ruin an otherwise watchable movie. I took my kids to see 'Hot to train your dragon' and they loved it, after I knew they wouldn't be scared I took my oldest back to see the movie in 3D and it was really good. I will also see Shrek 4 in 3D

I know this is the "new" 3D technology, but I used the Nvidia 3D option and a friend gave me a set of 3D glasses he had and I played Killing Floor in 3D and that game is just a ton of fun in 3D, the brains exploding and coming out at you, the crawlers jumping at you. That game isn't 100% compatible with Nvidia's technology, the text and menus aren't in 3D and that started giving me a headache after a couple of hours, but, overall, it was a fun option.

Hmm, sounds like porn, you took your kids to see it?
