    ==Call of Duty - Official Rules announcements and SOPs here==

    Tactical Gamer Call of Duty: MW3 Server

    Tactical Gamer MW3 Steam Group

    Being part of a TG Steam Group is a great way to keep in touch with your friends or make some new ones. Here's the link to our TG MW3 group. Take a second to sign up if you get the chance.

    General Server Rules

    Crouch Only

    Crouch only is very popular with many tactical gaming communities. It removes the run and gun aspect of the stock game and allows the players to focus on team work and tactics to complete their objectives.

    Players may only move while crouching. The exception being that you may sprint briefly to escape the blast radius of a nearby grenade.

    Play the objective / Lone Wolfing

    Your objective will vary with game type but in general, it is to help your team. That means communicating with and supporting them when they defend or plant the bomb, capture or defend HQ and Domination checkpoints or other game objectives particular to a specific game type.

    Sights Up

    Players should engage enemies using their weapon sights at all times.

    In-Game VOIP

    In-game VOIP is enabled on our TG CoD Servers. VOIP is a staple of effective teamwork and is highly recommended. Please have the in game VoiceChat enabled so you can hear your teammates. Bomb Carriers in S&D should have a functioning mic and communicate orders to their team. Using TeamChat (team only text)is an alternative to VoiceChat but not nearly as quick and effective. Players not communicating with their team will be considered Lone Wolfing.

    You are encouraged to join us on the TG Teamspeak3 server @ Use of Teamspeak is normally optional but may be required for some scrimmages and special events.

    The Server Channels are not for chit chat during rounds. They are mainly there for folks in the respective servers to communicate in game issues to the admins or other team and to request slots when the server is full. They are not there for general discussion. Between rounds conversations are fine if they don't interfere with game business. If you need to discuss something at length with an admin, request that you meet in another channel. If you want to keep up a voice conversation with other players, use the lobby channel, your IHS channel, whisper function or Steam/Xfire voip.

    Spawn Protection

    Do not camp player spawn points. Do not rush the enemy spawn at round start on S&D - defenders should defend their objectives, not go hunting.

    Bunny Hopping

    No jumping to avoid fire-No jumping around corners-No jumping over claymores to mitigate damage. Jumping and climbing over objects while under fire is not considered bunny-hopping.

    Team Killing (TKs)

    Intentional TKs or excessive TKs are not acceptable behavior on TG servers. Everyone enjoys playing every round and getting TK'd is one way to ruin that experience. In addition to limiting the TKs in the game ensure you are fully aware of fields of fire, your team's location and your team's uniforms.

    Basic Conduct

    * No swearing;
    * No abusive behavior;
    * No racist, sexist or discriminatory comments;
    * Respect for Tactical Gamer members and other players must be maintained at all times;
    * Inappropriate or unsociable use of on-line gaming systems will be dealt with at the discretion of the CoD System Administrators.

    What infractions can an admin kick/ban for?

    Admins WILL take whatever action they deem necessary to maintain the high standards we demand on our servers. Depending on severity, the COD admin team will follow:

    1. Warning
    2. Kick with time
    3. Kick with more time
    4. Ban

    Be advised that players wearing the TG tag are assumed to have read our server rules and SOPs.

    Contacting Call of Duty - Administration.

    Use this semi-private forum to contact one of the CoD administrators. Registered users will only be able to see threads they started and will not be able to see other player's threads. CoD admins will be able to read and respond through this forum.

    If you have been banned from one of our servers, use this forum to request additional info or ask for an appeal.
